Situated in picturesque, Oxfordshire countryside at the foot of The Downs are The Astons – the collective name given to the villages of Aston Upthorpe and Aston Tirrold. The two are contiguous with thriving communities supporting a village hall, two churches, a renowned gastro pub, an excellent car garage and cricket club. Located at the foot of the Berkshire downs with the Ridgeway National Trail only moments away, Aston Upthorpe is an attractive village of mostly period architecture, with quiet lanes that are not a cut through for traffic.
