There is evidence of a settlement here since 11th century and the property had been in a neighbouring farms ownership for generations before our clients took ownership. There is a beautiful medieval church in the village and the surrounding meadows are lined with ancient hedgerows and home to rare wild orchids. The market towns of Malmesbury and Chippenham are both within easy reach offering a wide range of everyday shops and services including Waitrose supermarkets.

Godwins Farm House, MalmesburyAbout this home
Godwins Farm House is an attractive property situated in a peaceful rural location. This characterful farmhouse has undergone a substantial and detailed renovation by the current owners, to the highest of standards. The rooms are all well-proportioned and mostly overlook the attractive gardens to the rear and the adjoining paddock. The house has been restored sympathetically retaining many architectural original period features whilst introducing a natural blend of moderns style and design both internally and externally.
The gardens have been beautifully landscaped throughout with passion and precision. Framed with low Cotswold stone walling and interspersed with a variety of trees and shrubs as well as well-established flower beds which are full of colour and wonderfully private and secluded.
